Welcome To Moon Palace Resort in Laiya Batangas
It was end of the month of December when we went to Laiya, Batangas for a short vacation. I know it sounds unusual to go to the beach during that month since the weather is cold. But don’t you know that that is also a perfect time to take advantage for beach escapade?. Why? Because first, the beach resort is not overcrowded compare during summer season. And second, the accommodation price is not expensive since it is not a peak season.
How To Get There?
From Quezon City, we drive to Laiya Batangas total of 154 km. It took us almost 4 hrs driving on the road.
Where To Stay?
We decided to stay on Moon Palace Resort since it is located near the Laiya beach. What I love about this beach resort is the quality of the rooms and of course its affordable price. It has air conditioned rooms, with private bathroom, gas stove with gas, grills, dining table, refrigerator and a swimming pool as well. What a great deal to stay overnight.
What I love about this beach resort is that it is just walking distance away from the beach. Since I really love the view of sunrise, it became my routine to wake up early in the morning around 5 am to just to take a walk on the sea shore. Same as what I did when I was on Panglao, Bohol
As you can see on the picture above, it was low tide. But after few minutes, the water comes high and it’s now time to enjoy the crystal clear water on the beach. Time to swim.
After swimming on the beach, it’s now time to go to our room to pack up since its time to check out by around 12 pm. What a great experience because my family and I was able to swim on the beach and see some small fishes. haha!
On our driving home, we dropped by on San Juan Pasalubong Center to buy some delicious foods to bring home like ‘pastillas’ and ‘broas’. But this big bottle of lambanog surprised me.
